BIRTHDAY Month

October is my birthday month...

Ummm.. Not really excited. In the past, I used to make a big deal about my birthday but this time around its different.. Not sure why the change of heart but I'm just not that excited..

Maybe cause I'm getting old.. 26.. I will be officially closer to 30 than 20.. Although, 30 is the new 20.. 30 is just a lot to take in.. Once you reach 30, people start calling you ma'am. Yeah, ma'am means respect but people call my mom ma'am. I'm just not quite sure if I'm ready to be put into the category with my mom just yet..

Anywoo... Yes, I will still celebrate it.. But as far as getting all worked up about it... Nah..

I ask my husband everyday what he will do for my birthday. Each time he tells me its a surprise.. So, I guess I'll wait...

Well.. the COUNTDOWN begins.... 23 more days!!!

I'm In Love With Another Man

I just got done watching Jazmine Sullivan's "I'm In Love With Another Man' video.. It's not the first time I watched it but the first time I thought to comment..

SN: I LOVE that song. I used to sing it all the time when I first heard it. It sort of reminded me of my husband..

Anywhoo.. That girl in that video was so wrong. Now I'm sure because of editing it gives the impression that the girl slept with that man on first meet. But, either way, first, second, or tenth meet, the girl is still wrong. She had a boyfriend. It wasn't no rinky-dink passer-by boyfriend. They was very serious and was dating for a while because engagement was an option. Just analyzing the man, he seems like one who got himself together. Nice house, nice car so definitely not a man who would marry the first skirt he met. So I'm assuming that lots was shared and much thought went into proposing..

Never in a relationship should someone have the opportunity to fall in love with someone else. While in a relationship, both partners should be devoted to the other. Time to 'play the field' should not even exist. If there comes a point when either are not deeply rooted, then the other should be informed.

Plus, it should never get that far to where you love someone while in a relationship with someone else. It takes a lot to love someone and that lots includes a substantial period of time. Never should a person be in a relationship with someone but spending time with someone else..
