Downfall
There are a lot of black advocates but they are wasting their time and the time of black society pushing issues that is only a minor problem. They get so upset when one individual calls a black female a ho, but when the whole white society is silencing Black America they do nothing. They wastes their time going after black rappers when their lyrics are not the problem. There are greater issues and just like the past have shown, blacks would rather go after the easy to resolve issues than the ones that really matter.
Take Jena 6 for instance. White America made a joke about it. Can someone explain to me the funny part?? I don't recall young black males having their freedom stolen from them funny...
In short, no matter what anyone says racism is still alive but whites are cowards so it is disguised...

Be Blessed
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world.
If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world.
Be Blessed...

I'm BACK!!!!!
These last couple of days has been quite uneventful. I can't really think of anything that happened out of the ordinary. I went to work, came home, went to sleep, and woke up the next morning to do it all over again. I know what ya'll are all thinking 'You had to have done more than just that' but pitifully, I haven't. My 24th year is proving to be a big bust. I still have approimately 350 days left in this 24th year so hopefully it gets better. {I am crossing my fingers...lol}
It has been entirely too cold these last couple of days. Me, like a fool, was complaining about the heat a few weeks back but now I am waking up to 30 degree weather. Is all of this cold really necessary?? I mean cause really, it is only November. I predict much more cold, snow, ice... *shivering just thinking about the coldness* blurr....... March ain't coming fast enough....
Well, halloween was a couple of days ago, well not really a couple of days....more like 2, and I have already gained two pounds from the candy. No, I did not go trick or treating... Although I do miss those days... But I had to buy candy for my co-employee's children... [At work on Wed, all of the employees children came in and trick or treated so I was not about to play scrooge and deny them of their candy] Well, being the big eyed person that I am for candy, I brought ENTIRELY too much. I am up to eye balls in tootsie rolls, kit-kats, starburst, and reese cups...(well not so much reeses cups considering how I have already eaten about 15 in the past hour.... *noticing your facial expression* Don't look at me like that...Soot, they're good...lol) I am not upset about my recent candy gain because usually I go to the store on Nov 1st and buy a buck load of candy 1/2 off. The only problem is that, I think I have a problem. I can't stop eating the candy, hence the reese cups. I will have to find me a CA {Candy Anoyonomous} meeting somewhere close cause I will have to break this habit soon.

Me...
Everyone lives their lives based on the perception of others. If they say that they don't, they are either in denial or lying. A person's actions is determinant on the potential reactions of others. From this day forward, I will live my life for me. Not to gain approval but simply for my happiness. Cause after it is all said and done...... 'In the morning, I will still be me'.

Why Did I Get Married??
What I really loved about the movie was that it was real. The events in the movie actually happens in real life and in marriages but it is never showcased.
When I was watching this movie I got really emotional cause I had just broken up with my boyfriend. Things just made a turn for the worse and we called it quits. I guess we both knew that it was coming soon cause the last 30 days has been really rocky. Anywhoo.... the movie taught me one valuable lesson: It doesn't matter how much you love someone or how much you want to be with someone, sometimes it may not be meant to be...
I guess this is really turning out to be a real good birthday month. This whole month has took a turn for the worst. I can't wait until Oct 25th so I can start a new chapter in my life. Since I can't wait for New Year's to do a resolution....[although I never really kept any resolution that I ever made in the past... I think that longest one I kept lasted for about a week].... I will make one now. The 25th will start my 24th year of life. During this last 24 years, I have made a lot of mistakes but I am thankful for all of them cause they all taught me a lesson and were blessings in disguises. Even my current breakup was a blessing in disguise. But enough about that.
I think that everyone should really evaluate their lives. So many times people get set in their ways that they don't realize that they are the ones holding them back. Instead of having a birthday celebration month, I will have a life evaluating month. My b-day is in 10 more days and I will use that time wisely and take full advantage of it. I will make a new plan for my life... I won't consist of my work or financial situation it will be solely based on my heart, mind, and soul.
These 10 days will be used to evaluate my life, identify the 'coal' and work on dismissing them from my life. I will start fresh in my 24th year and I will see my gold sparkle....
Much luv...

America's Next Top 'Letdown'
They was all gloats talking about Ebony's hairstyle. The girl look like something off of the Adam's Family. I don't know if it is the fault of the hair stylers or if its Tyra's fault but someone is definitely at fault.
Then Salicha, or however you spell her name, poor hair is a pure diseaster. She looks like a mop. Maybe I am harsh, but just looking at their heads is harsher.
What gets me is that they all seem all happy about their hair, Salicha should really not be happy. If I was her, I would sue for deflamation of character...lol
All and all them hairstyles is a big disappointment. Then they cut off of Lisa's hair and now she just have a head full of short curls. Trust me, it is not cute.
I probably have something bad to say about every single one of their heads, but just to sum it up.....It was a BIG letdown....... I promise you, that show gets worse every season....

October 9th
If I had to sum it up in three words.. I would have to say... An awful disaster... [Pitiful, I know]
This weekend I had plans on seeing 'Feel the Noise' well none of the theaters up here was showing it. Can you say 'a big letdown'? So this weekend I ended up doing nothing...
I've come to the conclusion that having a birthday month in Missouri is a waste of time..
Well better luck next year.... I will just wait for the 25th and have a regular BirthDAY just like every other Dick, John, and Harry......

This Done Took the Cake......
That is the biggest bull I ever heard. Record companies who generate millions a year in record sales and concert tickets sued a single mother who lives off of pay check to pay check.. That is ridiculous. I should walk up to every single record company exec and slap them in the face. They should really be ashamed of themselves.
They said that they was trying to teach consumers a lesson. I guess they think that they are doing a good thing. Let's all stand up and give all record company execs a round of applause for such great efforts.......... NOT... Those fools derserves a round of something, but it is definitely not an applause.
I am neither confirming nor denying that I download music but that article only would make me do it more. I would do it simply out of spite. From this day forth, I will never buy a real CD again..... They tried teaching consumers a lesson, well I will definitely teach them one too.....
Who's with me????
the Scandal that is.... Our Airplane System
My mom called me yesterday and told me that I should buy my plane ticket for Thanksgiving Holiday now cause the longer I wait the higher the prices will be. That is because airlines are using smaller planes which will result in less seats thus creating a higher demand for a smaller supply. Ok, now there reason for using smaller planes.....[ok, brace yourself cause this bull shitz will knock you off of your seats] ... is because since Hurricane Katrina, all of the large planes are used in Iraq. [I am not sure what for, but neither do I care]
It is just another way for President Bush to completely undermine the respect for Americans and pay greater respect to those who attacked our country some 6 years ago. I was one of the main ones petitioning for his impeachment 7 years ago.... [yeah, yeah, 9-11 happened only 6 years ago, but I knew that Bush was crap so I was trying to get him out early...but not only did I fail, but the idiots, from this moment on will be called Americans, voted him back in for another term..... (I am still shaking my head about that one)]
What sense does it make to go to smaller planes. If the people behind the decisions would look back in time, they will find the reason for going to bigger planes. True it may have been just to steal money from working consumers, but still there were reasons. I really don't see the logic of cutting the plane sizes right before the holidays. It just shows the lack of respect for Americans.
This world is getting so economical. Everything is about making money and having a lot of it. What happened to respect, gratitude, or consideration? What happened to anything that didn't have anything to do with greed?
Then my mom also said that because of the lack of seats, the delays at airports could be greater during the holiday season.
This whole situation is a scandal in disguise and Americans will just sit and let it happen.
If I didn't live an 11-hour drive from my hometown, I would ban the whole airplane system all together.. But due to my lazyness and my hatred for driving, I will be one of the suckers who have to pay double for a plane ticket and also one of the suckers who will be walking around the airport with my head chopped off cause I still have 2 more hours in my layover.
October 5th
It seems like this week just flew by. I woke up this morning happy and ready-to-go but it didn't click why until I looked at the calender. IT'S FRIDAY!!!!! This day just sort of snuck up on me. I really wasn't paying attention to the days and... Viola'.......
Now back to my gruelsome Birthday month... If I didn't express how much of a disaster it was, let me take the time to do that now. Yesterday, I didn't nothing... Well... [let me take that back cause I did do a lil something] I started me a group on MSN Groups. It is a work in progress. I didn't know that much stuff went into starting a group, but its coming together. But, ummmm, other than that... I did nothing besides making me some burnt nasty cookies.
I brought some cookies dough from a fundraiser and it came in Wednesday. I had plans on baking some Wed night, but I was distracted by my phone and plus the dough was frozen rock solid so I sort of forgot about baking some. Well, yesterday, it was on my mind as soon as I walked through the door. I took the dough out of the fridge and placed it on the counter... [just some I wouldn't forget]... Finally, it came that time to back them.... I put them in the oven and kept checking on them like every three minutes cause I like my cookies to be soft and chewy. Well, I set my timer on my oven for 4 minutes, but I really only had plans to keep it in there for 2.. [yeah-yeah-yeah.... I should have just set it for 2 minutes then, but whatever] So, I got caught up in the TV and when I finally thought about them cookies, I dashed up, ran to the oven, and was disappointed to find dark cookies in the oven. ..... [Let's just say that my night was ruined from that moment on] ..... I looked at the timer and I only had a couple of seconds left...[That's when I started beating myself up about the whole 4 minute thing] I hoped and I prayed that although the cookies was a lil dark that they will still be nice, soft and chewy, but my wishes did not come true. Five minutes later, I checked my cookies and they were hard as a rock..... [well not really hard as a rock, but they sure wasn't to my likings]... I nicely took one look at those cookies and one look at my trash can and the rest was history..... It was very depressing...
The rest of the night was just like my cookies.... a crying shame...
Well, since today is Friday... [and the first Friday in my Birthday month] it should be a lil better night... Well heres to hoping...

October 4th
I don't even remember what I did last night.. so that in itself means that I did pretty much nothing. I don't know if yesterday was named National Call Me Day of what, but it seemed like everyone that I knew called me yesterday. That is probably why I didn't do anything cause I kept getting interrupted by the ringing sound.. I would try to do something then... my phone would ring.
To some the phone ringing might not pose a problem, but everyone that I know seems to want me to pay attention whenever they talk. If I can master the art of 'fake communicating' then I would be in business.
Anywho.... I'll try it again today although I really don't feel like doing anything. [This day at work is seriously dragging by] I may just charge this week to the game and officially start my birthday month off Saturday. I think I may go see Feel the Noise. I believe it is coming out tomorrow. It stars Omarion as rapper who learns to dance. [Yeah, pretty much You Got Served in the club, but hey.... I'm still going to support] Something that I find rather odd.... it is produced by Jennifer Lopez. Now I don't know when she got her producer's license.....lol but I am a lil skeptical. Just because you can act, that don't mean that you can produce. But I'll see if that stands true come Saturday....
Oh, yesterday, I did watch 5 minutes of the I Love New York 2 Casting Call show. Even though I know that it is only for entertainment and not for matchmaking purposes, I will still watch. Some of them dudes that will be on the show is definitely not New York's type. Most of them look corny or gay and they even have a midget on it. I know what you are thinking...but yes a midget.
Well better luck tomorrow...

the Attack of the Serial Cable...
Attached to every serial cable should be the note 'DON'T TRY taking THIS apart EVER'. Ok, one of my co-workers asked me to look at a transducers - - load cell indicator (I don't really know what it is...lol but it is used to measure pressure and torque and all of that good stuff]. It was not working and it needed to be. So, Miss-Captain-Save-da-Day to the rescue...[that's me...lol] So I read through the manual and did every troubleshooting thing in the dang book, but nothing.... The thing still ain't work. So I took the connector cable apart and found the problem. The dang thing was connected wrong.
Well to avoid taking apart their connection... [ok, deep down I was scared. You see their connections were soldered together and I already had some life-threatening experiences with the soldering iron so I try to stay far far away] I decided that I would use an old serial cable, take it apart, reconnect my wires the right way, and then try it again. Well, it sounds easy but it is not.
The serial cable is a monster in disguise. I cut, I plucked, I gutted, I tore and the dang serial cable is still together. I was using a pocket knife to try to ply into the cable connector cause I couldn't find a gut-cutting knife. I have been at it for about 15 minutes and I have already broken a nail [I love my nails cause they all are, well were, a nice length...so of course I had to take a minute and mourn my nail...lol] and I have cut myself about 5 times [and counting]....
So to all who ever decides to take apart a serial cable.... DON'T..
I guess now I have to do what the manufacturers failed to do..... post a warning (see below):
October 3rd
I sat back and watched a movie and popped some popcorn. ... I know, I know, it may not be that whoop-de-doo, but it is a big step up from my usual nights after work.
I watched Troy. I must say that I was greatly impressed. At first glance, the sound of Troy is a dead reminder of the truama that I went through in American History and English IV during high school. I must of had to read over a million stories that concerned Hercules, Helen of Troy.... the Odyssey. Let's just say that when I graduated, I left all notions of the epics behind. [It was not my most interesting topic] But the movie was really good.
Don't let the beginning words fool you. The movie started with written dialog on the screen... [It pretty much reminded me of the movies that we had to watch along with the stories in English IV] but that was short lasted. The movie was filled with a whole lot of action. I had to turn my head a few times cause the directors ain't left nothing for imagination. They showed the swords being stabbed in the chest, they showed the blood, they showed it all. But one thing that should be noted is that ARCHILLES is the man. He was a beast. Don't step to Archilles and try to fight cause he will merk you. He lived by his own laws and they had no other option but to let him be him and follow. He had strength, power, pretty much everything that a girl would want. And of course it helped that Brad Pitt played him. [That man sure knows how to full some armor...lol]
I shed tears..... I laughed..... I definitely LOVED Troy.
Then I had to catch Sunday Best on BET. It is similar to American Idol except they are looking for the next gospel star. Me personally think that a good gospel singer is the best singers to listen too. They sing with such emotion and they make you feel what they are feeling.... I just love them.
There were a couple of singers that blew the roof off the building. I don't know them by name, but they did their thing. Last night was just the auditions so they showed the cans and the cannots. Honestly I was a lil dissappointed with the turn out. There were some good singers but there were a lot more so-so, borderline bad, singers. Anywho... They picked 20 people. 18 by qualification, 1 by online viewers choice, and 1 by judges pick. The judges tripped me out. Mary Mary, specifically Erica, is a fool. She kept it real. Some of those people left you speechless, so she basically just passed it to Bebe. Bebe, he let you know if your outfit wasn't on point. Oooh... It is hosted by Kirk Franklin and he is a fool. He would introduce the people.... 'there goes Steve and his blue suit'.... I was rolling.. But some peeps was down bad for their outfit choice. You are suppose to wear your Sunday Best people.... NOT straight-off-the-rack-just-going-to-throw-something-on. Some people came with their prom dresses, their right-out-the-club outfits, candy apple red suits, bright-azz blue suits, ..... It was a hot mess.
Because I am a big fan of gospel music ........ I will definitely tune next Tuesday.
Well, last night was definitely better than Monday night. It seems like this birthday month is starting to look up. I wonder what tonight will bring?????

October 2nd
Unfortunately, I did NOTHING yesterday. You would be amazed how fast time flies once you get off of work.. [It really is quite aggravating cuz the 9 hours at work goes by so slowly, it is a crying shame, but yet once I get home and is able to relax; I could blink and 4 hours would have disappeared.... Actually the whole time passing system is starting to get on my nerves....lol But that is a whole other post]
Like I was saying before my wandering thoughts got the best of me, I did nothing. I got so caught up in the TV..... The CW has it Season Premieres last night..... [It was long awaited]
Here is my Scopes:
Girlfriends: Joan sure knows how to run a man off doesn't she? It seems like the chick don't want a man, she wants a puppet to obey her every word, a sex toy to help produce some babies, and a bank account to buy a ring and the perfect wedding.... lol. They could have at least had Mya had the baby. It seems like no time passed between the Season Finale and Premiere. She looks as if she is only 4 months or so. Finally Lynn is doing her thang. I sort of like the way she decorated Joan's place. Oh, back to Joan.... When Aaron said 'Just so we are clear you are not to talk to me in front of other people or in private like that ever again'.. I was like... 'Welcome back 50's' Home boy jumped straight Ike.... I could have sworn that I seen his hand raised....lol. But I didn't like the cliff hanger. So what now, do Aaron have to be shipped out to Iraq? That would be messed up cause he could be gone for months. And what? Is the engagement off? It best not be...Joan has waited years for a man and it might be over cause of President Bush.... Aaron better fake a illness and stay and Cali.....lol But all in all, I enjoyed the show I will definitely watch it next Monday.... [the CW Network... 8:00pm (Central Time)]
the Game: I don't know what to say. I loved the Season Finale...... BUT I was disappointed with the Premiere. I mean, I watched the Finale about 5 times..[I DVR'd it] I loved Melanie's performance and when Irreplaceable came on... I was like YEAH!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!! But now to the Premiere... The acting was not that good. Melanie could have played that part a lil bit more. She had it walking into Drew's face, but as soon as she got there I was like 'Whoa, what happened to the acting?'...lol... She jumped in her face and said something...[i forgot exactly what] but then they started going back a forth saying 'What!" loudly. I was like 'Next scene, please. (Holding up my finger as if motioning for a waiter).. Then when she got in Derwin's face all I could do was put my head down... Then when she was talking to the ladies...(Why am I lost for names?? I can't think of their names to save my life, but you know who I am talking about) I was like... 'Can someone please find a Black girl?' Derwin got a lil crazy at the end. Throwing stuff and what not... I was like 'Hold up, patna, don't break your stuff cause you will have to clean it up'. He played his part alright, but his acting could have been a lil better. He could have acted differently to the ladies and also when Melanie was going to get her things.. I don't know what that preview was all about, but that scene with Malik and ...........oh, Tasha... one of those ladies name is Tasha.....[it just came to me]....lol............... Melanie best to have been a dream cause if she sleeps with him her hoe tail better leave Med school alone and stick to Prostitution....lol But I will still watch the next show, even though it wasn't the greatest.
Now, back to my B-DAY Month..... Yesterday was a bust so I will try it again..... well that is if Beauty and the Geek and Sunday Best doesn't consume my time. [It's a shame how TV is my sole source of excitement.... I need a life...lol] Anywho... I'll try it again tonight... Hopefully I'm successful.

Brittney loses custody.....
It takes a lot for a mother to lose custody of her children. I really don't understand Brittney. It is just bad that it has gotten as bad as it did. Unfortunately, I blame her parents. Brittney got into the showbiz career early. She did Mickey Mouse Club and right in the studio at a very young age. Like most parents who had nothing, her parents seen this as 'their' opportunity. Those type of parents allow their children to do anything just as long as they can collect the check.
Not to down Brittney in any way, but I am happy that those children is not in her custody. Look at the actions that she displayed in the past. The poor girl has shown her private area numerous times, she has shaved her head bald in a spontaneous act, has been tested to have used illegal drugs, and the list goes on....
You would think that her parents would help her in her troubled times, but as far as I could see they stood in the shadows. What parent would want to see their child go down in flames like that? My mom, would have forced me to live in her house and would have stood over me everyday until I seen the error in my ways and changed.
Although Brittney is the one seeing all of the consequences, her parents are to blame. I just hope that this situation will allow Brittney to see her faults and will give her the determination to change. She needs to be worried about her well-being and her children than about putting out an album.
It's Finally Here...
Anywho... I am now claiming October as my Birthday month. Although it has always been my birthday month, [duh, its the month that I was born in] I will celebrate every day of this month.. STARTING NOW!!! Well not actually now, cause I am stuck between these four walls that I call a job, but I will as soon as the five o'clock hour hits. I am not sure what I will do yet, but it will be something. It won't be nothing big, however, cause for one: I don't have all of that money to be big-pimpin' it for 31 days and two: It will get tiring and old quick if I do something big every single day for 31 days... So I will just hang low and do something small everyday.
I might.....BIG MIGHT.... Go purchase me a Wii today. I know, I know.... 23 going on 24 year old with a Wii??? But if you haven't played it, it is well worth the $250.
Well its time for me to get back to work so I can bust this joint come 4:59 ...[Just cause it is my b-day month I will leave a lil earlier....lol]

Proper Parenting???
A lot of people blame the entertainers in the music industry, but they are simply entertainers. Entertainers are used for entertainment purposes only. It is not used for parenting. I have grew up on rap and hip-hop music my whole life. Yet, I have never robbed a bank, killed anyone, turned into a hoe, and did any other bad acts that the lyrics suggest. Why? Cause I know right from wrong. I know what should be done and and I know what shouldn't. My parents instilled in my head morals and values so I know how to live 'right' in this world.
A lot of parents feel that it is right to blind their child to all of the wrong and bad of the world. But by blinding them, they are only making them ignorant. When that child does see that bad that they were banned from they will not know how to react to it. They will see it, be interested in it, then try it themselves. By blinding the child, that is only allowing them to live in a 'perfect' world and all who are living in this world knows that this world is far from perfect. There are bad deeds being done everyday so blinding the child from that is only giving them a false realization.
A child learns from example. If you allow the child to see the world on their timeline and also discuss with the child what they view, then that child will know how to react to future events.
In my opinion, most bad/wrong events happens because of ignorance. If a person is ignorant to a certain situation, then they may react out of ignorance sometimes leading to the wrong decision..
Part 2 coming soon...

The Many Differences.....
Ok, I have been living in this all-white town for about 9 months now. From my observations, I have figured out the many differences between whites and blacks..
Number 1: Whites are very cowardly
- I have seen many whites just 'take things as they were' cause they were afraid to make a stand. They would rather voice their opinion to someone who can't help them in hopes of them doing something about their situation. In the building where I work, I am the only black female, the rest being majority white males. I have heard, time and time again, the white males complaining about their work situation. Instead of complaining, or talking, to the boss, or atleast someone close to the boss, they would vent to a fellow co-worker. In my opinion, they are talking to the wrong person. If they are going to talk to a co-worker then they really shouldn't be talking at all.
- In another example, I have seen my fellow co-workers walk pass my desk about a million times, I guess hoping that one of those times I would be gone. Then once I am away from my desk, they take components of a project that they are working on. But, instead of them just asking me for it they wait until I leave to avoid asking; another coward move. But there are two things that they need to understand: 1. I really don't know what is on my desk nor do I need it so if they would ask I would happily give. 2. I really don't care about what goes on in the office, so if they would ask I would happliy give it with giving it a second thought. Many times I would walk into the lab and see them working on something. I really don't be paying attention to what they be doing, but as soon as I walk in they would say that they took something. I would just shrug it off because 1. I don't care and 2. I haven't even noticed it was missing.
Number 2: White people are fake
- A white person would talk about you behind your back. They might even have a strong hate for you, but if you ask them for anything they would quickly help. A white person would smile in your face for one second then as soon as they walk pass you they would call you every name in the book. You see me.... If it is a person that I don't like, they should not ask me for anything cause they will get their feelings hurt.
Number 3: White people are easy-going
- When I first started this job, the work hours were 7 to 5. Yes, I know 10 whole dang hours. But the trip part is that we are paid salary and we are only paid for 40 hours a week yet we are working 45 hours a week. I always wondered why no one ever questioned the work hours cause everyone just always came to work happily and on time. Well me, being the person that I am, usually showed up to work around 7:45. Simply because I will not let them steal time from me. My definition of salary is: You work 40 hours regular. If you work overtime, then oh well. It is not suppose to be you work 45 hours regular and still work overtime as needed. I for one will not get walked all over.
Number 4: White people put money first
- I once heard a man say that his wife coined a phase 'WWA' which means 'Work Wins Again' Meaning, it doesn't matter what his family has planned, if he have to do anything for work, even if it is after hours, then work will come first. Me, being a female, do not find that acceptable. My husband can work them regular work hours, but after those are over his tail is mine. No ifs, ands, or buts about.
- At my job, travel is a must. There was this man who said that the only holiday he have never missed with his family was his oldest daughter's birthday and Easter. He has missed Christmas, anniversaries, other birthdays, father's/mother's day etc. That is also not acceptable. If it is a holiday or a big event, then I will definitely not be working.
Number 5: White people are also very closed minded
- They have an impression about someone and then stereotypes that person based on that.
Number 6: White people have no family morals
- Just the other day, I heard two co-workers going down on their brothers and sisters. Talking about they were worthless and would never amount to nothing. I was in awe. Why would you talk smack about your family to outsiders. You see me... My brother could have went kunta on me and cut of my dang foot but if someone would ask.... he is the best man in the world.
Number 7: Whites wanna be liked
- They strive for the approval of others. I guess they feel that if they are not loved or liked then life isn't worth living. See me; I strive to please no one but God, myself, and my momma. At the end of the day, I can only be me so that is all that I can be. My favorite saying ....'Like me or love me'
Those are just some qualities about whites that I noticed. But those are some of the reasons why white businesses are more successful than blacks cause whites lets their employers walk all over them. A white person could have paid thousands of dollars on a vacation and could have flew all of their family in, but if the boss calls then the vacation is over. A black person could just have taken the day off to lounge in front of the TV but if the boss calls, they are not home. A white person could have got in a car accident, broken their arm, leg, neck, and back and also had their head busted in half, but will be to work as soon as possible. A black person could have gotten a paper cut and would be quick to call in sick.....lol OK, those are very extreme; just trying to get the point across. But white business boom cause the employees wanna work and wanna make the company money. I guess they see their job as a reflection of them.. I see myself as me.
The Many Differences.... Part 2 coming soon..

Another Day, Another Dollar....
Like right now I am writing this blog and I am thinking about this blog but things are going on around me that have nothing to do with this blog. I find it interesting that people have their own thoughts...
You ever notice that you can not speak and think at the same time? Try holding a conversation with someone and while you are doing it ... Try thinking about something totally different at the exact same time that you are speaking. Well...wait... Maybe some shouldn't because I guarantee that some will look quite crazy cause I tried and I made a plum fool out of myself.....lol
Well, just a lil something......

The BEST of all Time...
- There was this one Simpsons episode where it was April Fools and Homer kept pranking Bart. Well, Bart got him back by shaking a can of Buff's Beer for like days. Well, Homer finally got the cold drink and as he was opening it and the acid in the can exploded and Bart was there saying 'April Fool' while the explosion was about as big as the world. It was too funny... I am dying just thinking about it.
- Then there was this episode on Married with Children when the dad, can't think of his name, and the son, can't think of his name either, was in the department store while the wife, can't think of her name either (I really have to brush up on my MwC character names), was shopping. Well the dad was showing the son that he could unstrap a bra with one hand so he went up to a mannequin and tried and got stuck. So he was running around the whole store with a mannequin stuck to his hand talking about 'Help me please'. Aww, too funny.
- Then my greatest SpongeBob episode ever is the 'Wet Paint' one. SpongeBob and Patrick had to paint Mr. Krabs house and they made a mistake and got paint on Mr. Krabs lucky (first) dollar. They tried to clean it but it only smeared all over the dollar. So, Patrick was like he'll fix it and make it unnoticeable so he had drawn a smiley face on the dollar with some dollar signs. I was rolling.
- Pretty much every episode of Will n Grace is funny. I can't think of one in particular, but many of them keep me laughing for days...
- Awwww..... Martin. Well, what can I say about Martin. This show has had me rolling a couple of times... Like when Martin refused to pay the 5 during the snow storm so he and the rest of them had to stay in the apartment with no heat or food or anything. But at the end, it turned out that the 5 was only $5 dollars. Every one was like 'FIVE DOLLARS' ......lol OR When Martin thought someone stole his walkman so he was running around questioning people with the fake dog. OR When Martin was in that boxing match (fight) and his face got messed up bad... OR When Martin was in court after he got that speeding ticket and he was trying to preach his case until the cop walked in and he kept asking the judge to bang her gavel.. OR When Gina had went to the dentist and showed up at Martin's reunion... OR When the plumber passed out in Martin's bathroom and they had the funeral for him... I just love Martin's mom.... (Gina, ole apple headed heffa.... Them my mama's biscuits) , Brotha man...(I'm making me a sam mich....Bro man from the 5th floor [holding up 4 fingers]), Otis, Jermone...(I say Jermone in the house), Shenaenah...(Forever Shanaenah), Hustle man....... Awww, a classic.....lol....Memories
- I also like that Bernie Mac episode when the smoke detector kept beeping and Wanda and the girls tried to fix it. At the end Bernie was like 'Wanda you don't have to prove nothing to me, I'm a comedian, I don't find electricity funny, I don't play with God' Ooooh.... I was rolling cause he put emphasis on the word God so it sounded like Gowd......lol AND Another one when Bernie took the kids to church for the first time....
- I like some of the My Wife and Kids episodes too.
So many memories, so little time..... There are a lot more funny shows and episodes but those are all that I came up with....

The NFL.....Isn't It Crocked or What??!?
For those who can not read between the lines of America, I'll break it down for you.......How come a black man fight dogs (nothing that has anything to do with the NFL) and is asked to be banned from the NFL indefinitely BUT........white men can cheat, lie and fix games (something that has everything to do with the NFL) and gets a pat on the back???
Bill Belichick coach of the New England Patriots was caught spying on other teams in order to gain the upper hand against the other teams.. I don't know what White America calls that but that is cheating. Yet, there is no petition going around that suggests that Belichick be banned from the game. I feel that the whole system is biased towards people of color.
Maybe I am stepping on toes but who cares, white people are mad that black people are taking over the sporting industry. They see too many colored faces on top so they will use any small thing to get them removed....example Michael Vick......
I, for one, feels that Belichick should be removed from his position. What he did was wrong and unethical. There should not be no prolonged hearing....That man, spied on other teams and used that to his advantage. His knownings of other teams' plays only helped in New England advancement last season. All who had a nose in those spying activities should also be removed from the game.
This whole world is white and black and yet some are failing to realize it. The racial barriers are starting to come back but yet some are still stuck behind them. I did not realize it until just recently that the world was black and white. Before all I seen was people, people with just different skin tones but now I see white men and black men and white women and black women. I am a victim of racial profiling everyday due to the fact that I am a black female in a white's man world.

9-11
There should be a limit to the number of years a tradegy can be remembered cause I really don't wanna be sitting watching tv 12 years from today and see a headline 'Remembering 9-11.........18 years ago'. I understand that it was a trying time for people. But I feel that it is time, for those not personally affected, to move on.
Maybe I am being harsh cause I was not personally affected. I know no one in New York and I've only been to New York once (like 11 months ago) so I can not personally relate.....BUT I can relate to Hurrican Katrina and I feel that that last tribute (for the 2nd year anniversary) should be the last. No one affected by Katrina or Rita will ever forget it so why keep advertising it. The same with 9-11. No one affected will ever forget that either.
Maybe the tributes is just someones way who wasn't personally affected to show their condolences, but it has been 6 yrs so if you haven't shown it by now, then don't worry about it.
My prayers goes out to all affected. It was really a tragedy..
I remember when it happened .....
Flashback..
I was in my dorm room (I was a freshman in college then) and I was about to get ready to go to my class. All of the sudden my tv flipped to the news where they showed the trade centers being attacked by planes. I was in awe. I must have stood there for about ten minutes watching it (cause they kept showing the attacks over and over again). At that time I was not completely aware of all that was going on cause the media is very biased and they portray stories to fit their interests. But I knew something. I remember my intro to engineering teacher made us do a report on why the building fell. (Like we had to talk about the structual beams and support and stuff) But still at that time I was not greatly concerned. It wasn't until five years later, or last year from now, that I seen Flight 93 (Or United 93.....I can't remember the name at this time) and I was deeply touched. All of my prayers and wishes went to those who lost.
So I understand, well somewhat understand, the hardships of those people, but maybe they don't want to be reminded of their losts over and over again by the news coverages and articles. Let them get through their trying times, because I promise you, (to) the media, that those affected don't need you to remind them.
God's Blessing to All

I've Had Enough.....
It is not like she shown the breast and Justin started sucking on it. It popped out and was immediately covered. Let it go!!.
But on Justin, why in the hell did he pull that hard? That man had so much force like he was trying to rip somone's clothes off. Soot, with his determination, I am surprised that Janet's whole shirt didn't fly off. {Now that would have been HILARIOUS!!!!!}
But for real though, they need to get off of this court train. It has been three years and I feel that it is time to move on. Let Janet and her breast be.

The Pitfall, that is our Judical System.....
So let me get this straight. If a white boy threathens the life of a black boy, there is no crime? But if that same black boy, defends himself then it is attempted murder?
Governor Blanco has the power to revoke the sentence of Micheal Bell and the other young black boys on trial. But she choose not to. By Governor Blanco choosing not to change the ruling, that is her showing that she is agreement with the ruling. So, because she is in agreement with the ruling, that means that she feels that the white boys did nothing wrong.
Gov. Blanco has dropped the ball many times. First with Hurricane Katrina then with Jena 6. It is time to get that lady out of office because she has continuously shown her racism.
Back to Jena 6.... President Bush also have the power to revoke the ruling, but we all know where Bush stands with Black people so I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Why isn't threathening someone a crime? Our judical system is really messed up because they will not punish someone for threathening or voicing a potential future crime, but they will punish the crime doer massively. Why wait until it is too late? Them lil boys who hung up those nooses, do you know what they will grow up to be? Criminals. Why not stop them in their tracks?

What Would I Do If.......
What would I do if I was rich..
For starters, I will buy me a new house, nothing extravagant just with about 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, a game room, a living room, a family room, a study/office, a dining room, kitchen, 3 car garage, theatre, outdoor pool, fitness gym, sauna, and jacuzzi. (See just the basics) Something in the $950,000-2 million price range. I don't really need a lot of yard, probably just one or two acres and that is it. (Gotta have enough room to hold the horses and the basketball court)
Each family member, who can drive, will have their own car. (oh, in my dream, I am married with six children.....yes, I want a big family) Well, let me explain my family....My oldest son is 18, next I have a daughter who is 16, another daughter 13, a son 8, a daughter 4, and a daughter who is 3. Ok back to the vehicles, my husband will have a fully-loaded Tahoe LTZ, I have a Lexus GX (Yes, I will be driving in style), our oldest son have a Chevy Avalanche LTZ, and my oldest daughter have a C230 Sports Sedan Mercedes Benz. I will also put $100k (only $100k cause it will be in the bank collecting interest for me) aside for when my other 4 get old enough to drive.
Well, after all of that, house, vehicles, and taxes, I now have like 7.5 million left. Ok, thinking realistically, I will put aside $350k for each child's college education ($100k for their living expenses for their 4-yr education and $250k for their school tuition and fees. I will help my children get a scholarship, but the money I sit aside will be for 'just in case') I will only pay for a max of 5 years, or a Bachelor's degree, which ever comes first. If they want to get their Masters or Ph.D, or decide that they want to fool around with my money, then they will have to get that themselves. So, after paying for all six of my children education costs, I am down to: $5.5M.
Next, also thinking realistically, my family will acquire a lot of expenses during our time, ie electric bills, water bills, cable fees, phone services, internet, private school costs, after school activities fees, gas (whoa, gas will be a beast once this dream ever come true), food, house/car maintenance, and whatever other fees that may come along during our days, so that will now put me at: $2.3M.
So after EVERY single bill that a person could possibly have be paid out from 3o years from this date, I still have $2.3M to play with and I already have a car and a house, so life as I know it is 'pretta good, pretta good'. Oh, wait... I didn't save anything or tithe yet..... So of course $1M goes to God and $100k goes to savings... (Can't forget those..)
So now I can play. So, now that mega question that is piercing everyone's side: What would I do if I have $1.3M after every expense possible is paid? Well, stay tuned as a describe my dream weekend in the life of the rich and infamous.....
Wait, Wait, Wait!!!!!....Did I forget about shopping??? I am a die-hard shopper and me without shopping is like a human without water. So I estimate about $750k to household items and of course.....CLOTHES!!!!! Oh and I will not go crazy buying all of them name brand clothes that people are scared to wear because they don't want to ruin them. I will shop just like I do now and get a lot for my money....
Now back to my dream life with now $500k (I guess that is still good... I mean I really have no expenses only luxuries, so I guess I really can't complain of only having $500k to blow but it is a dream....BUT my hubby is still working so I guess we can still play with his paychecks too, but anyways.......wait what is I'm thinking.... $500k with no bills or notes or mortages or nothing is darn good....So *tipping my glass* 'Keep the party going'.......
Side Note: OK, just for the record...This is only a dream. If I actually did live my life hoping that this would happen, it would pain me to say that...... I would most likely be disappointed.
How would yours be?

Why A Man Gets Scared Away
Have you ever met a guy who seemed to be "Mr. Right", but after getting to know him better you could tell that he just didn't feel that same level of "connection" you felt? You were attracted to him, but he just wasn't into you the same way you were into him? In your mind, you could sense what a great guy he was, and that, somewhere deep inside, you both shared this strong "chemistry" that made you feel close and comfortable. But for some reason he didn't want to truly connect with you.
Another one...Have you ever slept with a guy very quickly after meeting him, but as it started to happen you got that sinking feeling in your stomach? You knew it was a mistake, but you did it anyway. And then the thing you KNEW would happen actually happened: He unexplainably disappeared from your life. Honestly, have you ever had this happen? Of course, the worst part wasn't that it happened, but that you KNEW you shouldn't have done it in the first place... but you did it anyway.
And finally: Have you ever dated a great guy for a long time... I'm talking about six months, twelve months, or even longer... and it was getting to the point where you needed to have "the talk" with him. But when you tried to bring up the topic of having a relationship and making a bigger commitment, his eyes just glazed over... and then he became distant from you... and the relationship ended soon after? You were trying to get CLOSER to him, and somehow he kept moving farther AWAY from you.
I'm guessing that when one of these things happened, your girlfriends said things like:"He's just a jerk, forget about him". Or they said: "He doesn't see the mistake he's making or what he'll be missing". But he never seemed to see these mistakes... or even miss you.
And the worst part of all: You kept thinking about it. In fact, it really GOT TO YOU. And I'll bet the REASON why it got to you is because you worried that it might have been something to do with YOU (and not just because he was a total jerk).
In fact, TO THIS DAY you still have the feeling that YOU may have done something wrong, and that you may have CAUSED some of the problems in the first place... and if you would have known the RIGHT thing to do, things would have turned out differently...
Unfortunately, the bad news is that you're probably right. Chances are you DID have something to do with it, and things probably WOULD have turned out differently if you would have known how to deal with the situation. You COULD have done something about it... if only you had known WHAT to do...
Do you know what to do in order to not scared a man away?

Ban BET!!!!!
So if I'm clear, the shows that broadcasts on BET is their form of entertainment. So, really BET is just trying to give amusement or an performance to its viewers. Well, what type of amusement is BET actually trying to protray and who is it for?
Lets' take a look at a few past and present shows that BET has aired for 'entertainment'.
First example: College Hill
To BET: What image was you trying to represent with that show? I looked at College Hill and I seen displays of false stereotypes of the black individual. I seen college students tongue each other down on the first night, well so BET made it seemed. In all actually, that kiss was not done on the very first night as BET protrayed but it happened later on in their stay at the house. BET, was it your purpose to protray black females as fast, easy girls? Because by editing the footage from the house, that is exactly the way that it seemed? In the house, I also heard every other word out of anyone's mouth to be a curse word? BET, was it your intention to protray blacks as individuals that constantly swears? In the house, I also seen a devastating fight, where to individuals fought over complete nonsense. BET, did you want to protray blacks as violent aggressors? I also seen catty arguements and unruly behavior. BET, is that how you wanted to protray Black America, or should I say Young Black America, or was it just some form of 'entertainment'?
To me, it seems that the 'entertainment' that you are protraying is not for the Black culture but for those that down and mistreat the Black culture. Is that who you is trying to 'entertain'? Is BET, Black Entertainment Television, trying to entertain those against blacks success by poking fun at those that are visually supporting their broadcasts?
College Hill is the perfect example of where BET is heading .... completely downhill. I know the process that the BET producers goes through in order to pick canidates for the show; it is long and strenous. So, in their long drawn out process that can't pick individuals that could potentially be role models for young adults and children. (No offense to the past participants of College Hill, but BET did not protray you as such) BET purposely picked the students that they selected for entertainment, to boost ratings, and to gain sponsors.
Second Example: Hot Ghetto Mess
Well, for one the names says alot.
Being that BET is one of the few, if not the only, television stations geared toward blacks, it should tried to lead my example and dismiss all stereotypes that is placed upon the black society. To me, BET is only strengthening the media claims toward blacks thus adding to the problem.
If you turn on BET now, nine times out of ten, there is a show on airing music videos.

8 Deadly Dating Mistakes Most Men Makes
Most guys act jealous when there is absolutely NO reason to... which makes them look extremely silly and foolish. Some guys even think that women are impressed by jealousy, likes it's manly or something… nope. No *healthy* woman would want to be with a guy that feels threatened by other men. Women like men that are confident with themselves and at ease around other men. Look at it this way, if your girlfriend or date requires constant supervision, if you can't trust her around other guys... then why would you want her?
2. NEEDINESS
Clingy, sheepish guys who need to be affirmed and reassured all the time don't get respect (which is EXTREMELY bad because respect is the foundation of attraction). Give the woman of your life some space. Show her how strong and independent you are and then pay attention to how she is drawn to you like a magnet.
3. COMPENSATION
Compensating only draws attention to your weakness - it doesn't cover anything up. Focus instead on becoming comfortable with, and overcoming, your flaws rather than trying to disguise them.
4. COMING ON TOO STRONG TOO SOON
People (both men and women) have a tendency to get caught up in the emotions of a new relationship and show too much interest way too soon. Don't jump into relationships… ease into them. With relationships it is better to error on the side of caution - take things slow.
5. CENTERING LIFE AROUND HER
Women are attracted to movers and shakers... and repulsed by men who have no worthy ambition or drive to succeed. When a man becomes dependent on a woman, psychologically, emotionally, or financially he places himself below her (on a psycho-social level) which makes it hard for her to respect him.
6. TRYING TOO HARD
We are taught since we are very young that if we want something we have to try our hardest to get it. For instance, we are told that if we want a high paying job we have to put forth our best effort and in the end we will be rewarded because "hard work always pays off." Getting women is one of those few things in life where the less you try the better your results will be. When guys try too hard to be cool or likeable it is obvious to women and their actions seem forced, unnatural, and unattractive.
7. BRAGGING
Talking yourself up makes you look bad (which is strange since the whole reason people do it is to make themselves look good). Allow your good qualities to come to the surface naturally… a woman will appreciate that 10 times as much and think much more highly of you than if you pointed it out to her.
8. BEING SHEEPISH
Call it what you will (wussy, lack of backbone, being a doormat, etc.), women HATE it. Don't allow ANYONE to overstep your boundaries (you do have boundaries, don't you?)... especially not her. Oftentimes a woman will deliberately test your inner strength by trying to get you to bend your will for her. This is one test you DO NOT want to fail because then it will be IMPOSSIBLE for her to respect you if you give in to her.
Men, are you quilty??
3 Deadly Mistakes Women Makes With Men....
Did you know that there are 3 ways you can set off a man's "Insecurity Alert" and make him think twice about pursuing a relationship with you? Sadly, even confident women often "accidentally" give off one of these signs... and just one can kill the chance of a man asking you on a second date.
As you read through these signals men pick up on as "needy" and unattractive, ask yourself if YOU have ever been guilty of committing one of these deadly mistakes:
- Talking or saying nasty things about your past boyfriends. Saying bad things about men you have been involved with actually reflects the negatively back on YOU. It makes a man worry you are carrying around "baggage" that HE will have to deal with should he become involved with you.
- Speaking negatively about other women. When women call other women names like "slut", "bitch", and "crazy", it is anything but impressive to a man you are attracted you. Women will often do this when they see a good looking, desirable woman, especially if they feel their man might be attracted to her. This just makes a man think you are trying to cover up your own insecurities, and looking for validation and attention. Not good.
- Too much physical contact, especially in public. If you are constantly hanging on a man or touching him too much he'll start to see it as clingy behavior... but you'll never hear about this from him. It's far better to save your touches for short and infrequent moments that will surprise and enchant him.
Mistake #2: Appealing To His "Sexual" Side Instead Of His Emotional Side
Many women make the mistake of thinking that men are primarily driven by sex alone... and think if they can attract a man SEXUALLY they will be able to attract him EMOTIONALLY as well. Women too often give up sex to a man in the hopes that it will translate into a relationship and get them what they want. In reality, a man has the capacity to view a sexual connection and an emotional connection as two entirely different things, and it requires a special set of skills to mold these two things together in a man's mind... and keep them connected. Men are out for far more than just sex... and a woman who knows how to fulfill a man EMOTIONALLY and SEXUALLY will be the woman who captures a man's heart... and gets that same fulfillment for HERSELF.
Mistake #3: Not Knowing How To Size Up A Man's "Relationship Potential"
A lot of women will decide whether or not they should put energy into building a relationship with a man based on ATTRACTION. Yes, attraction is important. But it can also be DANGEROUS. When we feel a strong sense of attraction for someone, it can cause us to override our logic and ignore our instincts... leading us to overlook potential partner's deadly faults that could spell trouble down the road. If you've ever found yourself stuck in a relationship that is dragging you down, this is probably why. It's important to be able to size a guy up and spot any "warning signs" of a future bad relationship FAST... so you don't waste any of your time or emotional energy on someone who isn't right for you... or who will leave you heartbroken.
Are you guilty???

To Black America:
In the words of Willie Lynch in 1712, there are many ways in which you can keep control of your "slaves". His wisdom of 288 years has not changed. It's time to wake up Black America!
GENTLEMAN:
I greet you here on the bank of the James River in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and twelve. First I shall thank you, the Gentlemen of the Colony of Virginia, for bringing me here. I am here to help you solve some of your problems with slaves. Your invitation reached me on my modest plantation in the West Indies where I have experimented with some of the newest and still the oldest methods for control of slaves. Ancient Rome would envy us if my program is implemented. As our boat sailed south on the James River, named for our illustrious King James, whose bible we cherish, I saw enough to know that your program is not unique. While Rome used cords of wood as crosses for standing human bodies along the old highways in great numbers, you are here using the tree and the rope on occasion.
I caught the whiff of a dead slave hanging from a tree a couple of miles back. You are not only losing valuable stock by hangings, you are having uprisings, slaves are running away, your crops are sometimes left in the fields too long for maximum profit, you suffer occasional fires, your animals are killed, gentlemen...you know what your problems are; I do not need to elaborate. I am not here to enumerate your problems, I am here to introduce you to a method of solving them.
In my bag here, I have a fool-proof method for controlling your black slaves. I guarantee everyone of you that if installed correctly it will control the slaves for at least 300 years. My method is simple, any member of your family or any overseer can use it.
I have outlined a number of differences among the slaves, and I take these differences and make them bigger. I use fear, distrust, and envy for control purposes. These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies, and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little test of differences and think about them. On the top of my list is "Age", but it is there because it only starts with an "A"; the second is "Color" or shade; there is intelligence, size, sex, size of plantations, attitude of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine or coarse hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you an outline of action--but before that, I shall assure you that distrust is stronger than trust, and envy is stronger than adulation, respect, or admiration.
The Black Slave, after receiving this indoctrination, shall carry on and will become self refueling and self generating for hundreds of years, maybe thousands.
Don't forget, you must pitch the old Black vs. the young Black male, and the young Black male against the old Black male. You must use the dark skinned slaves vs the light skinned slaves, and the light skinned slaves vs. the dark skinned slaves. You must use the female vs. the male, and the male vs. the female. You must also have your servants and overseers distrust all Blacks, but it is necessary that your slaves trust and depend on us. They must love, respect, and trust only us.
Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control, use them. Have your wives and children use them. Never miss opportunity. My plan is guaranteed, and the good thing about this plan is that if used intensely for one year, the slaves themselves will remain perpetually distrustful.
MY VIEW:
I feel that the future is a direct reflection of the past. In order to know where you are going, you must first know where you are coming free.
I believe the in order for blacks to rise together and overcome all obstacles that are placed in front of them, they must first understand their past, their heritage, and those that are keeping them down.
Although I feel that the letter from Lynch shows some relevance to the black society, it is quite unforunate that the black society is unaware of it. All blacks need to read this letter so they can see how they are viewed by others. They need to read this letter so they can get a better look at themselves. I believe that the number one problem in black culture is self enpowerment. Many blacks, in my opinion, are trying to better themselves and only themselves by trying to be in the top position of power. They don't help out others cause of the the fear that the person that they help might be better than them. They don't want to admit their fears or mistakes cause they feel that someone may see that as weakness and try to be better than them. Much like what is written in the letter, blacks don't trust other blacks and that is one of our main differences from other cultures and societies. Blacks rarely help other blacks because blacks feel that they need to be in power. Blacks needs to see that power can be better conquered as whole and will be lost individually. Until all blacks see and realize how they are viewed, they will never change. Blacks need to realize that the world is not based on the 'me' mentality so a person can not make it by themselves. But because in slavery and in the past they were taught to be against each other, that is how blacks are living. Many blacks feel that the 'white' man is the cure for all problems. "Be like the 'white' man, act like the 'white'man, talk like the 'white' man, become the 'white' man." That is only what blacks have been taught years ago so that is what blacks are living to believe. The 'white' man is not the answer to everything. Blacks have been brainwashed to belive liek that. Although currently, there are people who are understanding, but many are still brainwashed and refuse to see anything other. So by understanding the past and by learning and overcoming from it, all black people will understand the real answer and take the power in their hands (as a whole) and not try to hold it in their individual hands.

{And when I say whites I don't mean every single white person in the world, because there are some that treat all races equally. I mean whites as in the white society. Since the world always wants to generalize everyone and everything, the only thing the world would probably understand is another generalization}
I feel this way because I live this way and in this situation. Before I grew up around mostly blacks and some whites and never once experienced any form of racism but since graduating and moving away I have started seeing the 'real world' Maybe in some communities racism don't exist but in the real world it does.
You have to think about it realistically. Only less than 100 years ago, blacks were enslaved. They had nothing, couldn't get anything, and were denied everything. Why do people think that the 'white man', the same man who enslaved them years ago, would allow the black society to rise as they are doing and be happy with it.
Blacks are starting to enpower a lot of things.
- They are taking over the music industry (I guarantee that the black hip-hop, rap, and r&b stars makes more than the heavy metal and country stars)
- They are taking over the TV mainstream (Oprah)
- They are taking over sports (tennis: Venus and Serena, Golf: well back in the day Tiger (although he don't represent his heritage, but the dude sure ain't white), basketball: Shaq, LeBron, Kobe, Dwayne, just to name a few)
- And the lists goes on.
In the Forbes lists, the most powerful person in the world was Oprah. Blacks are really starting to rise and you think that the people who took away their power is just going to sit back and let that happen. Whites know that they can not be racist towards the powerful blacks cause it will be publicized (The whites would not want their actions made public casue it would not have been worth it due to the fact that the consequences to the white man will be more rewarding to the blacks than the joy that the white man got from showing racism and they would not want the blacks to be on top) but they can show racism toward the regular black folks that can either (a) not recognize the racism, (b) not afford a top-power attorney, (c) ignore it, (d) let it happen, (e) and lastly, do something illegal to fight back that will turn all criminal action to the black man and from the whites.

If A Man Wants You....
IF A MAN WANTS YOU
If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.
If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
Stop trying to change yourselves for a relationship
that's not meant to be.
Slower is better.
Never live your life for a man before you find what
makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man was not treating
you as you deserve
Then heck no, you can't "be friends." A friend wouldn't
mistreat a friend.
Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along,
then he probably is.
Don't stay because you think "it will get better."
You'll be mad at yourself a year later
for staying when things are not better.
The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
Avoid men who've got a bunch of children
by a bunch of different women.
He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant,
Why would he treat you any differently?
Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you.
If something bothers you, speak up.
Never let a man know everything.
He will use it against you later.
You cannot change a man's behavior.
Change comes from within.
Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...
Even if he has more education or in a better job.
Do not make him into a quasi-god.
He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
Never let a man define who you are.
Never borrow someone else's man.
Oh Lord! If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
All men are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the bending...
Compromise is a two-way street.
You need time to heal between relationships.
There is nothing cute about baggage...
Deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship
You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...
A relationship consistsof two WHOLE individuals.
Look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.
Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.
Make him miss you sometimes...
When a man always know where you are,
and your always readily available to him-
He takes it for granted.
Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give y
ou everything that you need.
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.
The Secret??? This was written by a MAN!!!!

Just my thoughts on the matter....
For one, it is not an issue that black men are dating outside of their race. For as my motto goes: Love sees no color. It is an issue of why they are dating outside of their race. I feel it is mostly because of ignorance and insecurities.
Me, myself, as a strong BLACK woman, have no problem with black men going toward other races. It just means that that particular black male was not meant for me. I know who I am and a black man going to a white woman does not intimidate me nor does that event matter to me. What matters to me is their reasons for choosing a white woman over a black one. Some men feel that a white woman is more submissive while a black woman is more controlling and independent. Some black men also feels that a white woman will keep a shape longer than a black woman. One man even said that older white woman (30-35) are sexier and their body is more fit than black woman of that age. He made that comment based on the fact that there are more white women in the gym than blacks. My response was that some black woman might not have the time nor money to spend at the gym. And also, just because the black women are not at that one particular gym that doesn't mean that they are not working out at other gyms or at their houses. But to me, that whole statement that that black male made was ignorant. It is those reasons and many more that supports my feelings for the reasons that black men dates white women.
What I don't understand is their logic behind their actions. Did they just block out slavery? Did they block out how their ancestors were treated years ago? Did they forget that it was the white woman who cause them to be beaten? Do they just ignore the fights that blacks still have to fight even today? Do they just ignore the racism that is still going on today between blacks and the white woman that they are dating? What about the past?
And everyone is so quick to say that a black man is not with a black woman because the black woman is loud, overbearing, controlling, independent, etc. Well, so be it. To me it shows that some black men are just not strong enough to handle a black woman.
A black male getting with a white woman says nothing about me, as so many women may feel. Every black male in the world could be with a white woman, AND I WILL STILL BE A STRONG, EDUCATED, FINANCIALLY-STABLE, BLACK WOMAN and PROUD OF IT.

For the Black Woman...
Dear Sister2Sister:
I’m sorry but I would like to challenge some of your Black male readers. I am a White female who is engaged to a Black male-good-looking, educated and loving. I just don’t understand a lot of Black female’s attitudes about our relationship. My man decided he wanted me because the pickings amongst Black women were slim to none. As he said they were either too fat, too loud, too mean, too argumentative, too needy, too materialistic or carrying too much excess baggage. Before I became engaged, whenever I went out I was constantly approached by Black men, willing to wine and dine me and give me the world. If Black women are so up in arms about us being with their men, why don’t they look at themselves and make some changes.
I am tired of the dirty looks I get and snide remarks when we’re out in public. I would like to hear from some Black men about why we are so appealing and coveted by them. Bryant Gumbel just left his wife of 26 years for one of us Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, the model Tyson Beckford, Montell Williams, Quincy Jones, James Earl Jones, Harry Belafonte, Sydney Poitier, Kofi Anan, Cuba Gooding Jr., Don Cornelius, Berry Gordy, Billy Blanks, Larry Fishburne, Wesley Snipes…I could go on and on. But, right now, I’m a little angry and that is why I wrote this so hurriedly. Don’t be mad with us White women because so many of your men want us. Get your acts together and learn from us and we may lead you to treat your men better. If I’m wrong, Black men, let me know.
Jamie, Disgusted White Girl, Somewhere in VA
RESPONSE:
Dear Jamie:
I would like to respond to the letter written by A Disgusted White Girl. Let me start by saying that I am a 28-year old black man. I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. I have a good job at a major corporation and have recently purchased a house. So, I consider myself to be among the ranks of successful black men. I will not use my precious time to slander white people. I just want to set the record straight of why black men date white women. Back in the day, one of the biggest reasons why black men dated white women was because they were considered “easy”.
The black girls in my neighborhood were raised in the church. They were very strict about when they lost their virginity and who they lost it to. Because of our impatience to wait, brothers would look for someone who would give it up easy without too much hassle. So, they turned to the white girls. Nowadays, in my opinion, a lot of brothers date white women because they are docile and easy to control. A lot of black men, because of insecurities, fears, and overall weaknesses, have become intimidated by the strength of our black women. We are afraid that our woman will be more successful than us, make more money than us, drive nicer cars and own bigger houses. Because of this fear, many black men look for a more docile woman. Someone we can control. I have talked to numerous black men and they continuously comment on how easy it is to control and walk over their white women. I just want to set the record straight. I want A Disgusted White Girl to know that not all successful black men date white women. Brothers like Ahmad Rashad, Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, Morris Chestnut, Will Smith, Blair Underwood, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris Rock all married strong black women And, to flip the script, there are numerous white men, in and out of the spot light, who openly or secretly desire black women over white women. Ted Danson, Robert DeNiro, and David Bowie to name a few. I just don’t want a disgusted white girl to be misinformed Stop thinking that because you are white that you are some type of goddess. Remember, when black Egyptian Queens like Hatsepshut and Nitorcris were ruling Dynasties and armies of men in Egypt, you were over in the caves of Europe eating raw meat and beating each other over the head with clubs. Read your history!
It was the black woman that taught you how to cook and season your food. It was the black woman that taught you how to raise your children. It was black women who were breast feeding and raising your babies during slavery. It is the black woman that had to endure watching their fathers, husbands, and children beaten, killed, and thrown in jail. black women were born with two strikes against them: being black and being a woman. And, through all this, Still They Rise!It is because of the black women’s strength, elegance, power, love and beauty that I could never date anyone except my black Queen. It is not just the outer beauty that captivates and draws me to them.
It is not the fact that they come in all shapes, sizes, colors and shades that I love them. Their inner beauty is what I find most appealing about black women. Their strong spirit, loving and nurturing souls, their integrity, their ability to overcome great obstacles, their willingness to stand for what they believe in, and their determination to succeed and reach their highest potential while enduring great pain and suffering is why I have fallen in love with black women. I honestly believe that your anger is geared more toward jealousy and envy more so than snotty looks. If this were not so, then why do you continuously go to tanning salons to darken your skin? If you are so proud to be white, then why don’t you just be happy with your pale skin? Why do you continue to inject your lips, hips, and breasts with unnatural and dangerous substances so you can look fuller and more voluptuous? I think that your anger is really a result of you wanting to have what the black woman has.
BOTTOM LINE: If I were looking for a docile woman, someone I can walk over and control, I would give you a call. But, unfortunately, I am looking for a Virtuous Woman. Someone that can be a good wife and mother to my children. Someone who can be my best friend and understands my struggles. I am looking for a soul mate. I am looking for a sister and; unfortunately, you do not and CANNOT fit the bill. No offense taken, none given.
Signed, Black Royalty

America, What Is Wrong??
More and more, children are trying to live up to these stereotypes. They are throwing away all morals and values taught by their parents just to live up to America. Who says being light-skinned is beautiful? Who says having long hair down your back is beautiful? Who says being tall is beautiful? Who says being skinny is beautiful? Who says you have to have a million dollars in the bank to make a difference? Who says you have to go against everything that you think is right to be noticed? Who exactly made these rules???
Well if those 'so called' rules exist, then what about those that are dark-skinned? And those with short hair? And those that are not a size 2? And those that are short? And those who have $1000 in the bank? And those who live by the morals and values that they were taught? What about them?? What about those people??
America is losing their individuality. Culture deemed one type of person important, so now everyone is trying to mimic that person. I bet if an average person look around as they walk the streets, they will see minimal to none of the people that culture deemed important/significane. Why? Because the people that culture deem important is not real. Look on the TV, half of the size 2s is only size 2s cause of surgery. Half of the high cheek bones, thick lips, and superb noses are only that cause of surgery. Why is America striving to be something that is not real.
Everyone was placed in their package for a reason. Take a lady who is a size 14. Be beautiful in your size 14. If everyone was meant to be a size 2, then there would not be any other sizes available in the store. You only live once. And if you are living it starving yourself, then it will make for a very boring lifespan. Take the girls in the media. Why is almost every star gluing, sewing, or infusing hair into their scalps? Who implanted the notion that long hair is beautiful?
Why are there not more 'larger than a size 2' females on TV? Why must every star fit that 'ideal image'? Or at least the 'ideal image' set by society? I once read that many all black sitcoms don't live long on TV because White America can not relate to a black person being in power. Well, if that ignorance is true, then why are there so many skinny people on TV? Why are there so many rich people on TV? If TV was the basis of real life, the world would be filled with skinny people, with ideal jobs, ideal homes, ideal families, no problems, money to throw around, a buck load of trustworthy friends, no violence, spoiled kids who started their life troublesome but end up going to an Ivy League school, etc. How can people relate to that?
I mean, America, really......what is wrong? What happened to our individuality? What happened to our self pride? Why must we strive to be what the media/culture says is right? Who deemed them the voice of America anyways?? So tell me, America, what is wrong?

What is Love....
Sure when you love someone, it has been proven that you also care about them and only wishes them well, so after one does the math it seems that love has to be part of a meaningful relationship. I agree, love should be part of a relationship, but it shouldn't be the only thing. Other things should be considered.....like respect, and honor.....just to name a few.
There are so many couples who are in midst of a divorce, but a short while before filling they swore that they were in love. There are some many males and females who are cheating on their mates, but before, during, and sometimes after they swore up and down that they were in love? So is love really the basis of all relationships?
I think that love can easily be confused.... Just because you care about some one or you want them to be happy that doesn't mean that you love them. Love is an action of the heart. Unfortunately, the heart has no brain. The heart confuses caring and lust for love and that thought is transferred to the brain as love. But is it really?
So the age ole question..... What is love and what do it really mean? I am still yet to find out.........
