Child Support

OK.. I was doing my daily browse on the Internet and I came across the topic on the Internet...

I will never be involved in the child support system. My future hubby and I will raise our children together so there is no need for the gov't to get involved...

True, there is more to support than the monetary... BUT the monetary helps..

Like with all things in this world.. Child support is another example of how things are taken to the extreme.

Scenario: My best friend's uncle is on child support. He have three children. Back in the day, when all three children was under the age of 18 [or maybe 21.. I am not sure of the legal 'stop paying' age], child support was breaking his pockets. He had a low earning job, so after all the child support was taken out he had just enough to pay his bills [no extra spending money or nothing... just enough]. Obviously, life was hard for him.. So he decided to re-marry his ex-wife to avoid paying child support. After two of the children turned 18 [or 21] -- [the other was 10 years younger than the other two so I guess he didn't want to wait any longer and I guess he could afford to live right and pay child support for one] he divorced his wife... [I think that is wrong on so many levels.. but whatever]

Scenario: Famous men dish out on average $15k a month on child support. What child in this world need $15k to survive a month? I know gas and food is high, but dang... $15k..

Scenario: My best friend put her baby daddy on child support. He is a dead beat [poor boy have three --maybe 4-- children all 2 and under] so he doesn't want to pay. Every chance he gets he tries to squeeze his way out of child support.

My feelings are if a man is trying then child support is not necessary... Some females be out to break a nicca. All the man should be 'required' to pay is half for the child. Some want the child support to pay for their nails, hair, and all of the above..

One thing about child support I hate is that it depends on how much the mother make. Sure if the woman can't handle her own then it works out for her cause she can sit on her butt all day while she lives off of the child but it is not right for those mothers who are taking care of themselves..

Like I said.. I have no plans on using the child support system cause me and my future hubby will raise our children together but... I also make more than him and if the state would come to me talking about 'you make too much so you will only get a lil from your baby daddy for support' I would go off.

It should not matter how much money I make. The man should be the man regardless. The amount he pays should not be dependent on how much I make.

Just on a side note: I HATE how people in this world are rewarded for not being ambitious and successful while those who are handling their business have to deal.. Examples: welfare, food stamps, low child support payments, etc.. All of which, may I add, I can not get even if I wanted to so I just have to deal....

Anyways.. Every man should not be on child support cause it may just cause a good man to go bad. Some women use child support to get back at the man for not doing them right..

I think that all situations should be handled one on one BEFORE the gov't gets involved.. Parents should come to an understanding, but if the man is just not trying to do right then... Bring his butt to the system...

There are some artists that slip through the cracks and are never recognized. But their works surpasses any superstar mainstream artist.

Ne-Yo for example is an excellent song writer and performer. From the first listen of 'So Sick', Ne-Yo have graced ears with songs of truth, love, thoughts, and sincerity.

His latest single, Mad, is one of his greatest.... in my opinion. Take a peek below..

I first seen, and even heard the song for that matter, last night. I was passing through the living room and the TV was tuned to BET. 106 and Park was on and NeYo's video, Mad, was number 5. I had no choice but to stand there and listen.. The words...

I don't want to go to bed, mad at you
and I don't want you to go to bed, mad at me
no, I don't want to go to bed mad at you
and I don't want you to go to bed, mad at me

...stuck out. It made my mind go back to the times when me and my then boyfriend [now fiance'....YAY!!!] used to argue about nonsense. Many times, we went to bed mad at each other.

Just from watching that video last night, I thought the video was about a couple fighting, then one deciding that the love is too strong so tried to fight to work it out. It wasn't until this morning that I seen the whole video on YouTube... [BET have a BIG problem with cutting videos short]...

As soon as I made it into my office, I quickly replied to a few emails, checked my voicemail then searched for Ne-Yo's video. Finding this video was way easier than finding Beyonce's Halo video when it first came out.. [It seemed as if every site removed the video because of copyright issues, but low and behold one site... which I forgot the name of.... still had the video up... Loved the video.. But back to the point]

After watching the whole video I realized that it was not just about a fighting couple and their make-up... It was about realism.. It was about the truth that.... Tomorrow is not promised..

At the beginning of the video, after the argument, Ne-Yo walked out the apartment mad and witnessed a little boy getting hit by the car. At that moment it appeared that Ne-Yo realized that life is too short so he went back into the apartment to try to work it out.. But the twist came at the end when it came to light that Ne-Yo in fact was the one hit by the car.

So many times in the past me and my boyfriend let an argument simmer until the next day. But the next day is not promised.. The next minute is not promise.

At time of departure, that memory becomes a lasting memory.

Everyone was born a sinner. Everyone have come short at least once in their lives. Everyone have sinned; whether big or small. No one on this Earth have the power to classify a sin. No one on this earth have the power to judge a sin.

I'm not sure why, but I have been thinking about gays and lesbians alot. Maybe it is because almost everyday there is a news article regarding a gay or a lesbian.

I have no problem with gays or lesbians. Everyone on this earth have a story so I am no one to judge.

My problem though is with gay/lesbian marriages...

Yes, as stated, everyone sins. Some sins happen only in the mind and some stretch outward into the physical, but either way both sins are measured equally. Being gay and being a lesbian is a sin. But that sin is no different than killing, stealing, cheating, etc.

However, society is trying to right the sin of gays and lesbians. By granting gays and lesbians the right to marriage that is, in my opinion, trying to right that sin.

I don't think gays and lesbians should have the right to get married. Yes, they have the right to live, be respected, get equal pay and jobs, etc because they are people but they should not have the right to get married.

Marriage is a union created by God. Per the Bible, marriage is shared between husband and wife.

By gays and lesbians demanding the right to be married, they are saying that being a gay or lesbian is right. They are saying that their bond is the same as a man and woman. It is not...

There are these religions called Scientology and New Age Christianity. In my opinion, they are a load of crap. They are only a ploy to right man's wrongs. They pretty much says.... "It's okay to do whatever you want because it can be justified by man".

Sometimes the world is a funny place to me... Everything always have to justified and if they can't... They are just manipulated and recreated...
