A BLACK President -----

Well, well, well.. Here I am again after just a long hiatus, but it doesn't matter how long it takes for me to get back all that matters is that I'm back.... So.... I'm back!!!..

Anyways.. Searching the internet have become one of my beloved hobbies... From news to culture to gossip to entertainment.. I make it a purpose while at work to check out a few sites. Well, during my recent web browsing, I ran across a couple of polls and articles talking about America and the potential future Black president. One question that always pops up is 'Is America Ready for a Black President?'

My question is what makes a Black president different from a president? Why must the color of one's skin be mentioned during a political election?

Well, I have to get ready for work cause looking at the time, I will be late AGAIN... but I will discuss this in more detail later.. I just wanted to throw it out there....

  1. I have to agree with you. The color of a mans skin does not determain his worth. This was a statement the African-American community stood behind for many years. Pull a double standerd, and now it looks as though it does determain his worth, in an election anyway. I myself am glad to see a Black president, it shows Americans CAN change, and let go of the past (Well most of us). I didn't vote for Obama, based on his record. Not by his color, creed, nationality, simply on his record. I feel a 1st year senator lacks what would be needed, but given enough advisors, anyone can lead people, and I pray to God I am wrong, and he has the stones for the job. Just because a man/woman is White, Black or even Green, doesn't make them qualified to run a country, same as it doesn't qualify them to fly an airplane. It's only skin.
