the Cheating Affair

Soooo....... I've been married for 6 months and it have been tough to say the least...

BUT I'm not going to talk about my marriage cause I'm sure there are some out there that are tougher than mines so I will just leave the talk of mine alone.. I will, however, talk about the lack of respect that marriage holds these days.

Being married, I have a soft spot for cheating and affairs. One whisper of it and I hit the fan.

Before God, two people stood to have and to hold, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, and until death do them part, but society is screwing the vows.

Men are cheating on their wives and women are cheating on their husbands.

To some, marriage means a great deal. It means a lot to have someone there at all times. Not only do the person's thoughts and views matter but also their partners.

I greatly dislike women and men who openly seduce, interact with, and fornicate married individuals. Honestly, and just speaking real, if my husband would interact with someone who both of us knows, I would slit both of their throats. Sure that reaction may be a harsh one, but I take marriage seriously.

It takes a lot of effort to be married. Effort that only God can fully provide.

When one cheats on their marital partner, I feel that that is the greatest disrespect.

Lately, everything that I read talks about someone cheating on wife or husband.

I think it is pathetic how these men/women can just blantantly have sex with another woman/man when they have a wife/husband at home who is trying to do their best.

The whole situation just makes me mad. I feel that there is a need for a more forceful pre-marital counseling. Me and my husband went through counseling but it didn't cover all the aspects that it should have. The Pastor need to ask questions tailored towards everyday living. An open panel with other married and engaged couples should also be included in the pre-marital counseling.

It should take more than a ring, a minister, and a marriage license to get married. Just how it takes work to get the marriage license, one should be forced to attend a class before they can be permitted to get married. If the class is not successful, then the marriage application should be denied.. Plain and simple.
