WHY MARRIAGE?

No one can explain
The heartfelt joy it contains

The joy of love
The joy of friendship
The joy of comfort
The joy of marriage

A one in a million chance,
Someone can hold
To find that special someone
That reveals all life’s gold

Someone so lovely
Nothing else compares
One who brings sunshine to rain
And goes where no one else can dare

No one can explain
The power that it brings

The power of bonding
The power of combined affection
The power of everlasting unity
The power of marriage

Only ordained by God
Can something so wonderful exist
A bond between a man and a woman
That no divided soul can resist

No one can explain
Why marriage is so captivating

But from this day forth
As these two become one

Upon the saying of ‘I Do’,
the joy and power has only begun.
