Every morning I alternate between two local radios stations during my commute to work; the Steve Harvey Morning Show, which airs on Q93, and the Wake Up Syndicate, which airs on MAX 94.1.
While listening to MAX 94.1, I caught the daily gossip segment. Their topic of choice was the list that Neyo supposedly made to diss other entertainment artists. I'm guessing they get someone their info from this site called Media Take Out cause most times they speak verbatim off the website..
Anyways... One item on "Neyo's list" was a statement about Chris Brown. Neyo is reported to have said that during a run in with Chris Brown, Chris smelled musty. Neyo was then reported to have brought it to Chris's attention, Chris then responded with 'My bad, dawg' and the matter was dropped.
The radio djs on MAX 94.1 made a BIG deal about it. They started making comments about Chris' hygiene habit then just blew the whole matter out of proportion.
Everyone in this world have been musty a time of two.
Who knows what Chris was doing before his run in with Neyo. Chris is known to dance a lot. He is constantly moving. So a person on the move will naturally become musty after a period of time. Maybe Chris was on his way home to take a shower. Maybe Chris just got done dancing.
My point is... It is no big deal but the media blew it way out of proportion. Things that happen in celebrity lives happen to EVERYONE..
Well I take it back. Not everything cause I know for a fact I do not live in a mansion, have tens of cars parked in my driveway, have millions in the bank, and have the world bowing at my feet. So not everything that happens in celebrities lives, but the normal life stuff....
So what if Chris was musty. Let him be musty. So because of the advertising from the media everyone will be talking about Chris' body odors..
The media gossip is getting way out of hand. Most things that are promoted on the radio really should stay behind closed doors.
I feel the media is only out to make fun. They never say reasons or even try to clarify the matter. The media's first and only thought is to find out the juicy details in hopes of adding humor to it.
Why must society strive on this? Why must society listen to the media gossip?
