All White TV

I realized that lately a lot of my posts have been racial but that is because a lot of racial things are going on..

So, I'm cruising the Internet, looking for something to pass my time, when I remembered I missed Project Runway last week.. As always, I go to www.mylifetime.com and Project Runway's latest episode is not available. [I think it could be my computer since a lot of stuff is blocked on this CPU but I'm still blaming Lifetime.. :) ]

The picture for the latest episode shows all the contestants. It's no surprise that all the remaining contestants are white. Reality show history [well decent reality show history....

...
If you look at VH1's line-up for shows such as Flavor of Love, Real Chance of Love, Ocho Cinco: Ultimate Catch, I Love New York, etc the casts are majority black. Yet, if you look at reality shows such as Apprentice, Big Brother, Project Runway, Design Star, etc the casts are majority white with always one black contestant...

At one time, I wanted to be on Big Brother [the 30 page application sort of turned me off...lol] and I know more than one Black person wants to be on those shows, yet only one is cast every season.

Just FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!
...

....] shows that Blacks are rarely casted and among the first voted off so seeing the all white remaining contestants is quite the norm so I wasn't really bothered by it... It wasn't until I clicked on 'Shows' and noticed that there was not one black face on that page.. Then I decided to click on the Homepage. There was not one black face on the Homepage either.

Obviously, Black people exists in this world, so why are they hidden on TV??

Check out www.MTV.com, www.CBS.com, and www.NBC.com. My guess is you can count the number of Blacks you see on one hand.. And that's adding them up from all three sites..

America is quite pitiful..
