Usually pre-ordering comes with it benefits...
Don't have to wait in lines. Always one of the first.. And on and on...
Well, not in all cases. Last year in October, I pre-ordered BCFX: The Doug Williams Edition. BCFX stands for Black College Football Experience. It is developed by a company called Nerjyzed Entertainment and I actually got to design part of the game.
Anyways... I pre-ordered the game because there is a drum line mini game that allows you to compete head to head on classic HBCU's fight/band songs.
I ordered the game with the assumption that it would be released by December of that same year. Decemeber came and gone. It was then announced that the game would be released in April, then May, then June, then August, and then September. As of today, I still have no game. The lastest release date was September 8th.
A few minutes ago, I checked GameStop just to make sure the date was still set and to my surprise it has changed to September 29th. In the past 11 months, the release date has changed about 12 times.
My interest in this game is starting to wither away. I won't hold my breath for the 29th.
Yes, pre-ordering have benefits but it have major set backs if the company you are ordering from is just starting out.
