I haven't been watching the Steve Harvey show like I used to. I used to live approx 50 miles from work so I was always in the car during the Strawberry Letter 23 segment, but I moved approx 15 miles from work so I am almost NEVER in the car at that time anymore.
Basically, I used to be a Strawberry Letter regular but now I catch it whenever. Shirley's comments were usually lame but Steve was somewhat head on and entertaining. Well ever since Steve's re-found celebrity status, he have been appearing on many talk shows. His newest gig is Good Morning America. Since he is always on another show other than his own, they brought in someone to give the man's point of view of the Strawberry Letter. That man is Steve A.
I don't agree with his viewpoint to say the least.
Today the letter was about a woman who is witnessing her father's player ways. She wrote in because she is hurt and disappointed with her father. Shirley, of course, gave the lame response, but it was WAY better than Steve A's. He was way off mark. It was as if he was recently hurt by a woman cause he went down on the lady in the letter.
He basically said that her father is a grown man so he should be allowed to live his life the way he chooses and not how she wishes he would live it. In my opinion, that is a bunch of crap. So, he is saying that once a man reaches a certain age, he can throw all morals and values out the window and start living life based on his personal preferences. In my opinion, cheating is disrespectful. So let Steve A tell it, a man can be disrespectful once he is of age.
So tell me, what is that age? At what point is it acceptable for a man to be a jackass? 30? 40? 50?
