the Workplace

OK.. It finally happened.. After one year and 10 days it finally happened... I am officially in f*ck it mode..


People always clown me about how I keep changing jobs. It is not because I get fired, laid off or anything like that. I simply quit. Of course, it is after I find a new one. Anywhoo.. I quit because I get sick of working at that place so I move on.


Alot of people hate their jobs but yet they continue to go to that same place day after day. I don't. Once I get to the point where I hate my job, I move on.. It just so happens that I am a beast at interviewing so I usually get jobs fast.


Or it could be because I am a black female engineer who talks a good game. Everyone is looking to diversify their workplace and the best way to diversify a white male dominated field is to add a black female in the mix. Currently, there are 11 people who work in my office. One black male, five white males, three foreigners [umm... chinese, asian, or something], one german [or french.. really don't know], and one black female... ME!!!!


Just speaking realistically, sure I have some darn good credentials, but sometimes people just need to darken it up a little..


Anyways... Because of my surroundings, I keep to myself. I mean, really, how much can I say to a bunch of multicultural middle-aged men. I pass, say 'hello', and that usually ends my convo with them for the day.. Well I guess some mistook my meekness for weakness..


Well, getting to the point of this blog.. Today is the day that I officially hate my job so it is time for me to move on..


To keep a long story short... Basically the respect is gone so it is time for me to move on..
